Designed by Young & Battaglia This fun design blends classical portraiture from the 17th century with 21st century confectional bubble-blowing.We first created the Bubblegum series as a canvas print for walls. The prints rapidly became best sellers, and so we were excited to create two options as photo cushions in the UK. The other member of this gum-loving couple is Bubblegum Lady. These two photo cushions are UK favourites: just imagine them both posed together on your chaise longue! One of the things that make our Bubblegum images so well loved is the subtle glimpse you get of the bubble-blower’s pouty lips through that sphere of gum. It just gives our aristocratic gentleman such a comical look. It makes us imagine how serious portrait sitting must have been for the subjects - and how long it must have taken.
